Members of ATU 1582 came together to celebrate Jim’s Retirement. He started on May 4, 1988 and clocked in for his last day on November 30, 2018. Best wishes to you and your family in this next chapter of your life!

Celebrating Lucinda Thomas Retirement Party on January 14, 2018

Congratulations to Lucinda Thomas, who will be working her last shift on December 16, 2017, after over 20 years of service! Lucinda has been a member of ATU 1582 since July 11, 1996, where she started as a cleaner in the garage. She eventually worked her way into the driver seat, and is retiring as a beloved driver. A retirement party will be held for Lucinda in the New Year with details to become available soon.

Thank you to everybody who came out to support Lucinda at her retirement party. We wish her all the best in her future endeavors!

Celebrating Mark Traver’s retirement on October 1, 2017 at Jack’s Corner Bar

Congratulations to Mark Travers, who will be retiring on September 30^th. Mark has been a member of ATU 1582 and employee of the City of Niagara Falls since 1999. For the past 18 years, Mark has worked in the garage, keeping our buses serviced. To celebrate his service to our city, ATU 1582 will be hosting a retirement party for Mark at Jack’s Corner Bar, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Pizza and wings will be served and members are asked to contribute $5.

One of the few times we see Mark sit still.
